It's a dream come true to know that young people are enjoying our old folk songs, namely sea shanties.
I have hoped for a folk revival for several years, even creating this playlist to try to keep our wonderful cultural heritage alive as so many try to bury it:
I received a comment on Youtube from a young lad who said he cried when he heard the track below. The sound of the human voice awakens genetic memories, reminding us of where we're from (prior to the 24/7 centralised entertainment era) and who we really are, like a wake-up call.
A folk revival is exactly what the elites would hate: they don't want us to feel connected to our past because then we might want to revive it. To fight the elites, do exactly what they don't want you to do and show them a big twos-up
